Build a Blanket Tent
(Remember always ask permission and clean up after you are done.)
Materials Needed:
Blankets
Fabric
Rugs
Clothespins
Rope
Pillows
Directions:
This is a good rainy day activity or indoors or outdoors in your yard on a nice day, it doesn’t matter. It is always fun to have a tent, an imaginary castle, a secret place, to help you imagine your story.
Indoor it is easy to drape blankets and cloth over a table or chairs. Outdoors you often need some rope to create the center of your tent. Providing a means to clip the blankets to or drape them over.
After you decide where start gathering supplies. Remember always ask if you can use something first. Sometimes you might need something a little heavy to hold a blanket in place. Rocks or chairs can do this. This is about being a problem solver. You have to figure out how to build your tent. That is what makes it so fun.
After you build your tent it’s time to play. Campout, read, eat, read, play games, read, have secrets, read, so much fun.
