Get Cozy with Books this Winter: Adult Winter Reads Program Begins January 2nd, 2026!

This winter, McIntosh Memorial Library invites adults to participate in our Adult Winter Reads Program starting January 2nd, 2026. Cozy up with a good book (or audiobook), complete a fun reading challenge, and earn exciting prizes!

How It Works
Pick up a bookmark at the library or print them (using the link at the bottom of this post) and start reading! To participate, simply read or listen to three books between January 2nd and February 28th. Once you’ve finished, turn in your completed bookmark at the front desk to claim your prize. Every bookmark you submit also enters you into a grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire!

Prizes
Participants will enjoy a variety of exciting prizes when they turn in their bookmarks. Prizes include books, mugs, and other fun items, so there’s something for everyone! The more you read, the more you can win. Best of all, adults age 18 and up are welcome to participate as many times as they would like.

Grand Prize Drawing
The grand prize winner of the Kindle Fire will be announced on March 2nd, 2026. Don’t miss your chance to win!
