Library Receives Over $50,000 in Grants

[/et_pb_heading]
We have great news to share! The McIntosh Memorial Library was recently awarded nearly $52,000 in grant funding! These grants will enable us to offer digital literacy classes, cooking classes, book giveaways and the opportunity to host a community conversation to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America.
It takes a committed team working collaboratively to bring these grant dollars to Viroqua. We’re excited to use the funding to bring new resources and programs to the library throughout the year.

Thanks to a Vibrant Spaces grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation the library is getting not one but two murals!

Sarah from Lucid Painting will begin working in our courtyard space along Rock Avenue next week! Over the course of four weeks the courtyard will be transformed into a beautiful gathering area for everyone to enjoy.
We have big plans to celebrate the library murals and all murals around the city.
Details will be announced soon!
