Stuff The Bus
Stuff the Bus Vernon County provides school supplies and backpacks for students in Pre-K through High School at no charge.

Registration is open June 1 through July 17.
To be eligible, students must attend classes at a school located within Vernon County, Wisconsin. We’ve asked each school what supplies your student will need to help ensure you get a great start. We do our best to fulfill the school’s supply list but in some cases we aren’t able to provide everything.

You can help provide free backpacks and school supplies to Pre-K through 12th grade students in your community. Here’s how:
Make a Gift
You can make a tax-deductible contribution that will help us buy the school supplies these students need. Write your check to McIntosh Memorial Library.
Donate Supplies
We’re collecting specific school supplies requested by teachers. Sticking to requested items ensures we can meet actual student needs. Example supply Donation List (2026 list pending).
Drop off supplies in our Stuff the Bus bin at the McIntosh Memorial Library in Viroqua between July 18th and August 3rd.
Volunteer
